Certified Power Pilates instructor, Sara Krahnke, thoughtfully tailors classical Pilates Mat and Apparatus exercises to each individual for a personalized, effective, and encouraging practice. Sara is a North Carolina native who graduated from NC State University with a B.S. in Middle Grades Education. 

Sara became intrigued with Pilates in college after witnessing the remarkable results it has had for her mother.  She began taking classes along-side her mom and quickly found that Pilates made her stronger, leaner, and more connected with her body. 

Motivated to share these benefits with others, Sara pursued and received her Power Pilates Beginner Mat Certification in 2006 and Power Pilates Comprehensive Certification in 2007.   Since then, she has taught at studios and gyms in Cary, North Carolina; Norfolk, Virginia; and Saratoga Springs, New York.

What is Pilates?
Pilates is a unique method of body conditioning performed through safe and controlled movements, with and without apparatus. It targets all of your muscles - particularly those in your abdominals and back. Consistent practice will develop long, lean musculature, increase your flexibility, and improve your balance, posture, and body awareness.
